When a child is about one year old, he can use a balancing board as a slide, a table for reading or eating, or a ramp for cars. Learning to balance on a board begins at about 2 years of age. Remember that each child develops at its own pace and the various stages of playing on the balancing board may occur at different ages.

The type of board finish does not affect their durability. For gluing boards, both the core and the outer layers, we use hard species of deciduous trees. They differ mainly visually and sensually. Ash and oak have more noticeable pores, while walnut and beech are smoother.

The balancing boards are covered with transparent varnish, semi-matte varnish safe for children. Meets the EN 71-3 standard.

The wooden stones are covered with linseed oil, safe for children.

The sets of blocks have different types of wood, ie walnut, ash, oak, beech, merbau, fuma, maple, spruce, cherry, pine, alder and many others .... Anything we can get our hands on, which is why the sets of balancing blocks may differ from each other.

It is best to use a slightly damp cotton cloth. Do not use strong cleaning agents and solvents.

Of course! When the blocks lose their shine, you can use a cotton cloth to rub the blocks with any oil approved for contact with food, e.g. linseed oil.

Yes, the set is sewn with an overlap, which allows you to take the cover off and wash it by hand or in 30 degrees C on a small spin.

We suggest using gentle washing agents. We advise against using strong detergents and softeners.
